The Only Fudgey Brownie Recipe You'll Need!

Serves: 6-8

Bake time: 33 Minutes
Ingredients
1 cup butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
4 large eggs, at room temperature
1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3/4 cups all purpose flour
3/4 cups unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips (optional)
Directions:
Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat.
Turn off the stove, then add in the sugar and brown sugar. Whisk until smooth.
Remove the saucepan from the stove. Whisk in the eggs one at a time until fully incorporated. Then, add in the vanilla extract and whisk again.
Add in the salt and whisk to combine.
Sift in the cocoa powder and flour. Whisk until the batter is smooth.
Optional! Fold in chocolate chips for extra richness.
Pour the brownie batter into an 8x8 inch baking pan that is greased and lined with parchment paper.
Decorate with Oreo Minis and Smarties, or any toppings of your choice.
Preheat the oven to 350F and bake for 33 minutes.
Let the brownies cool in the baking pan for 45 minutes. Then, transfer the brownies to a cooling rack and allow them to cool completely before serving.
