Crescent Roll Appetizers

Bake time: 12 - 14 minutes

Ingredients

• 3 packages Pillsbury crescent rolls

• 3 large hotdogs

• 8 slices cheddar cheese

• 8 slices black forest ham

• 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Egg Wash:

• 1 egg

• 1 teaspoon milk

Toppings:

• coarse sugar

• everything bagel seasoning

Directions:

​Hot Dog Crescent Rolls:

1. In a medium sauce pan, boil the hot dogs for 5 minutes. Place the hot dogs on a plate lined with paper towel and allow them to dry.
   

2. After the hot dogs come to room temperature, slice each one into three portions.
   

3. Using one package of crescent rolls, take a pizza cutter and follow the guidelines to make each triangle.
   

4. Place a cheddar cheese slice in the middle of the dough. Add one piece of hot dog and roll the crescent roll tightly to the end. Place your hot dog crescent rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Deli Crescent Rolls:

1. Using one package of crescent rolls, take a pizza cutter and follow the guidelines to make each triangle.
   

2. Place a cheese slice in the middle of the dough and top with one slice of black forest ham. Roll the crescent roll tightly to the end. Place your deli crescent rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Chocolate Crescent Rolls:

1. Using one package of crescent rolls, take a pizza cutter and follow the guidelines to make each triangle.
   

2. Place 1-1/2 teaspoons of chocolate chips on top of the dough and carefully roll the dough tightly to the end. Place your chocolate crescent rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Time to Bake:

1. Preheat oven to 375F.
   

2. Make the egg wash, by whisking the egg and one teaspoon of milk.
   

3. Brush the egg wash on each crescent roll.
   

4. Optional: Sprinkle coarse sugar on top of the chocolate crescent rolls. Optional: Sprinkle everything bagel seasoning on top of the deli crescent rolls.
   

5. Bake all the crescent rolls for approximately 12 - 14 minutes. Allow them to cool and you are ready to eat.
