Ingredients
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1-1/2 teaspoons salt
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup frozen butter, shredded (for top of dough)
2 cups carbonated water (I used Perrier water)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375F.
Into a bowl, add the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and whisk all the dry ingredients together. Add in the carbonated water and mix with a spatula until a tacky dough is formed.
Prepare a 9x5 loaf pan that is greased and lined with parchment paper. Place the dough into the loaf pan and spread it evenly. Shred your frozen butter, then sprinkle it on top of the dough.
Bake your bread for 55 minutes. Remove your bread from the pan and allow it to cool for 30 minutes, before serving. This bread is amazing served with butter or jam!
