Ingredients
1 package of Italian lady fingers (4 packets)
2 - 8oz packages cream cheese at room temperature
1-1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup hot brewed coffee
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 - 3 teaspoons unsweetened cocoa powder, for dusting
Simple Syrup:
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup water
Directions:
Into a saucepan over medium heat, add sugar and water. Stir occasionally until sugar is dissolved and looks clear. Add in the vanilla extract and brewed coffee. Stir and set aside until your simple syrup comes to room temperature.
Into a bowl, add the cold heavy cream. Whip until medium peaks form and set aside.
Into a separate bowl, add the cream cheese and whisk until smooth. Add the powdered sugar and mix until until completely smooth.
Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture with a spatula.
Prepare a 9x13 baking pan.
Layer the Tiramisu:
Dip both sides of the lady fingers into the coffee and place them evenly in a single layer, in the baking dish.
Evenly and carefully spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the lady fingers.
Repeat the same process, one more time.
Cover your tiramisu with plastic wrap, and place it in the fridge for 6 to 8 hours.
Dust with unsweetened cocoa powder and you are ready to serve!
