Ingredients
1 - 6oz can tomato paste
1 cup tomato sauce or passata
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon granulated powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/8 teaspoon allspice
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan and stir until well combined. Place over medium heat.
Bring the mixture up to a gentle boil. Then, reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes. Stir continuously.
Remove from heat and cool to room temperature.
Place Ketchup in a mason jar or a glass container and cover tightly with the lid. Keep refrigerated. Lasts up to 14 days.
When making your Ketchup, you can adjust the spices and sweetness to your liking.
