Ingredients


  • 1-9 inch store bought graham cracker crust

  • 2-8oz packages cream cheese, at room temperature

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1-1/2 cups heavy cream

  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

  • 1 can cherry pie filling (optional)


Directions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, pour in the heavy cream. Add the powdered sugar and whisk until stiff peaks form.

  2. Transfer the whipped cream into a separate bowl and set aside.

  3. In the same mixing bowl, add in the cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon zest (optional!). Whisk for 2 minutes until a smooth consistency forms.

  4. Whisk a portion of the whipped cream into the cream cheese batter. Then, add the remaining whipped cream and fold it in until fully incorporated.

  5. Pour the cheesecake mixture into a graham cracker pie crust. Use an offset spatula to spread it evenly.

  6. Refrigerate for minimum 4 hours or until fully set.

  7. Top with cherry pie filling or any garnish of your choice. Enjoy!
